A few of the students had some musical experiance, but most did not! There is a specific kind of innocence when approaching a new skill, and most of the time that innocence is  tarnished by those who tell you “you are doing it wrong” or suggest you improve your technique.  Artisticly, this album is all about just doing in in one take and roll with the punches. Created by the Studio for Interrelated media students who participated. The diagonal weave is layering four strips of reed on top of eachother in a type of “infinity staircase” way. The hex weave is similar in its layering of reeds, just a bit more space out and  layered in a hexagon. This Technique is the act of guiding the audiances eyes through the film to create  a smoother watching experiance. There is a similar technique with music and audio, Motifs. By repeating symbols with musical notation it establishes  a stronger tone with the audiance! My approach to “WALK WITH YOUR EYES” was to combine these two techniques using diffrent filming and  editing techniques!
